It was only recently, after the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had approved a new prescription for the drug Viagra, that the drugmaker agreed to pay a $4million fine to settle allegations that it contained an unapproved drug. Pfizer, the world's biggest pharmaceutical company, did not admit the allegations. It was, however, a clear signal that the company was in talks with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The USFDA has been trying to settle several sexual assault claims, including one involving a man who had been sexually assaulted while at a party in 1998.
Pfizer, the world's largest pharmaceutical company, said the settlement would resolve the allegations and allow Pfizer to begin selling the drug.
Pfizer and the USFDA said their resolution would provide a "statured path to legal settlements" over the case. The settlement would provide the company a "clear line of communication" on the settlement and will allow Pfizer to continue to produce and sell the drug.
The settlement was announced in a US court filing in February, as part of a multidistrict litigation (MDL) over a Viagra patent infringement suit that led to a settlement in the case of the British drug maker Pfizer.
Pfizer said the settlement would allow the company to continue producing and selling the drug and will enable the USFDA to continue its efforts to settle the sexual assault claim.
The USFDA, which is the US government's largest employer, will pay Pfizer $4 million to resolve the sexual assault claims, which it had earlier settled with the MDL in 2002 and in which it was found to be unfounded.
In a statement, Pfizer said that "Pfizer, headquartered in New York, is the world's largest pharmaceutical company, leading the pharmaceutical industry with a workforce of more than 45,000 people. The settlement resolves several sexual assault cases, including one involving a man who had been sexually assaulted while at a party in 1998."
Pfizer said the settlement would give it the "clear line of communication" on the settlement and will allow Pfizer to continue to produce and sell the drug and will make sure the product meets USFDA's standards.

A recent medical journal article inRivest Health, reported that men taking Viagra and other drugs to treat ED in the United States were more likely to be diagnosed with a high-grade prostate cancer with a 5-year survival rate of only 7.2%.
According to
— a study in
, conducted by researchers at Cleveland Clinic and Cleveland University School of Medicine — the authors of the study concluded that the combination of Viagra and the use of an ED drug “was associated with an increased risk of high-grade prostate cancer and lower-grade cancer compared with Viagra alone.”
According to the study, however, the study does not say that the combination is associated with an increased risk of high-grade prostate cancer.
Researchers were surprised and fascinated by the research that led to the development of this aggressive form of prostate cancer. According to the American Urological Association, the “prostate-specific antigen (PSA) level is the most important marker for detecting high-grade prostate cancer.”
According to a study in
— conducted by researchers at the Cleveland Clinic and Cleveland University School of Medicine, men with a PSA of 3.0 ng/mL had an increased risk of having high-grade prostate cancer compared with men with a PSA of less than 3.0 ng/mL. Men with a PSA greater than 5.0 ng/mL had a risk of high-grade prostate cancer with an increased risk of a high-grade prostate cancer, while men with a PSA less than 5.0 ng/mL had a risk of high-grade prostate cancer and men with a PSA greater than 10.0 ng/mL had a risk of high-grade prostate cancer.
The study also reported that Viagra and other drugs to treat ED in the United States are also associated with an increased risk of high-grade prostate cancer, which is the most common cancer.
According to the study, however, the study does not say that the combination of Viagra and the use of an ED drug is associated with an increased risk of high-grade prostate cancer.
Viagra has been used to treat ED for more than 20 years, and it has been linked to an increased risk of high-grade prostate cancer.
The study has also revealed that the combination of Viagra and a PSA is associated with an increased risk of high-grade prostate cancer and low-grade cancer.

Viagra has been shown to cause some mild side effects. Talk to your health care provider if these do not go away within a few days. If you begin to experience more serious reactions, seek medical attention immediately.
Common side effects reported from Viagra use include:
More severe side effects include:
If you experience any of these side effects, seek medical attention immediately. These are symptoms of a severe adverse reaction to this medication that require immediate treatment.
As with all prescription medications, inform your doctor of any medical conditions you currently manage. Tell them about any and all medications, prescription drugs, and supplements you are taking before starting treatment with Viagra. Viagra can interact with bodily substances, causing potentially serious adverse reactions.
Specifically, you should inform your health care provider of any nitrate medication you are taking. Remember to mention any herbal products you use, especially St. John’s wort.
In addition, let your doctor know if you have recently had heart surgery or experience chest pain during sex. If you experience any changes in your heartbeat or chest pain during sex, contact your health care provider immediately.
asthma in men (idan)In a clinical trial of 1,000 people, Viagra caused a 16% increase in attack rates for people who were Viagra recipients, and this is solely the product of medical conditions. In some cases, trials showed that taking Viagra with other medications that can interact with it was not associated with an increased risk of heart attack or stroke. In other cases, Viagra has been shown to slightly increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
angioedema (janet)In a clinical trial of 1,000 patients, Viagra caused a 15% increase in severe anesthetic episodes when given for 30 minutes. This is a medication that can potentially cause potentially life-threatening side effects in some people. In another trial, Viagra caused a 9% increase in severe anesthetic episodes when given for 30 minutes.

In some cases, Viagra has been shown to slightly increase the risk of heart attack and stroke. Also, nitrates can cause a drop in blood pressure called dinitrate levels in the body, which can cause dinitrate levels to rise.
In addition, let your doctor know if you have or have had liver or kidney problems. If you do, your doctor may require a dose adjustment or increase it to compensate for any changes in your weight.
In addition, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. If you become pregnant, contact your doctor immediately. This is a rare side effect, but it is possible and typically mild.

The cheapest erectile dysfunction (ED) pills are generic Viagra, called.
The term "generic" refers to the active ingredient of a medicine or drug rather than to the advertised brand name under which the medicine is sold. It is a term referring to any drug marketed under its chemical name without advertising.
Pfizer made the originaltablet that is often referred to as the “blue pill”.The patent expired in 2013 which then allowed other pharmaceutical manufactures to make a generic version under the name of the active ingredient called Sildenafil. They are exactly the same medically and perform in the same way with the same side-effects.
As with most branded products, Viagra is sold at a higher price, therefore the generic tablets sold asare much cheaper.
Medically there is no difference between a generic medicine and the branded medicine, as they both have the same active ingredients to make them perform in the same way. They only differ in the “bulking” agents used to fill the tablet as the amount of active ingredient required, in this case Sildenafil, is very small. This makes the tablets bigger and easier to handle.
The main difference between generic andbranded named prescription medicines is cost with generics being much cheaper
Every pharmacy can choose what price they sell at, as there are no fixed prices. It will depend on what price the pharmacy can buy the drug from the wholesaler and the cost of their own overheads. They can they decide what mark-up they require and some pharmacies choose to sell some products at higher prices.

All pharmacies using a UK General Medical Council, to prescribe their medicines will also be registered with the UK government Agency the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Those online pharmacies who are not registered with the CQC either use pharmacist prescribers or foreign doctors.
You will then know and have the confidence that all the brands being offered are genuine and will work in the same way. All the pharmaceutical companies are inspected by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to ensure they manufacturer the drugs to the same quality standard. This means that the key ingredient that is referred to as the “active” ingredient is exactly the same in all brands.
The other inactive ingredients that make up the bulk of the tablet are called “excipients” and can vary.
For those people who are allergic to or have an intolerance to lactose, then the is ideal for you as it is lactose free. You can check the additional excipients on the patient information leaflet supplied with your tablets.
Although medically all the generic tablets are identical, they may look different as they can vary in colour, shape and size due to the varying excipients.
The patent for, owned by Pfizer, expired in July 2013, which then allowed other pharmaceutical companies to produce generic. There are a number of companies now manufacturing which include Accord, Ajanta, Dr Reddy’s, Mylan, Teva, Torrent and Zentiva. Even Pfizer make a that they sell cheaper than Viagra although generally more expensive than the equivalent generic brands.
